My New Job
The new job is definitely of the good. I go forth, I restore order to the computing universe, and I leave happy people in my wake. Best of all, I’m not trapped at my desk forbidden to go to lunch or dinner or home for 72 hours at a time. I walk around campus....Fun with software (not adventures in procrastination!)
Several months ago, I got a cheap copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking, but then my computer died. I installed it today. In fact, I’m using it now. I thought it would be fun to use with Final Draft to write scripts, but it doesn’t really recognize my voice...New Year’s Resolutions
I’d really like to post something like, “This year I will get published, sell my movie script, and win the Georgia Lottery,” but none of those things are under my control, so there’s no point in having them in a New Year’s Resolutions...Called my mother…
